This is single cell PEM fuel cell test fixture model #1957-1F. This fixture is designed to test combination of new catalysts and membranes. The active area of the fixture is 10 square cm, which allows evaluation of the current density at a glance and performance of the single cell. No tools are required to disassemble and load the test fixture, which speeds up the process of testing of multiple cobination of different electrodes and membranes. As a result, the experimental process and gathering of data is accelerated. This test fixture includes the set of steel rule dies for cutting membranes, electrodes, and gaskets. A pair of fixture plates heater cartridges are also included.
